Gold Coast Congress – Positions Vacant

As the Gold Coast International Congress enters its 63^rd year, this week-long congress held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Broadbeach is the largest of its kind in the southern hemisphere attracting over 2000 players and is internationally renowned. The Queensland Bridge Association is seeking expressions of interest to fill the following positions [rates available on request]:

• House pairs – willing to commit to an entire event. Free walk-in game if not used
• Substitutes on-call – available nearby on mobile in emergencies, advise which days available, free game
• ^* Bump-in and set-up, transition re-set, bump-out – need 3 or 4 fit and able people, accommodation supplied, fill-in other tasks during the week
• ^* Coffee station staff before play and during breaks – need at least 3 people
• * Caddies – preference given to those living on Gold Coast
